The Project Toolkit
The Project Toolkit
2008
Join those people that know how to get a group together, develop a project and get funding for it.
One of the key success factors of charities, community and voluntary sector organisations is their ability to turn ideas into services and projects that people want. This success relies on the organisations ability to obtain and use external project funding.
But jargon, and other constraints, can so often get in the way. Terms like inputs, outputs, resources, capital, revenue, stage management, work packages, the list goes on. To the uninitiated these terms are overwhelming and scary ... and somewhere the original idea of the project can get lost.
Don’t Lose Out On That Funding
The Project Toolkit can change all that. The toolkit is a series of tools set out easily for you to be able to use to get funding. It doesn’t matter whether you are going for capital or revenue funding or whether you are applying for a small grant or a lot of funding, the toolkit can help get you that funding.
It doesn’t matter what funding source you are applying for.
The toolkit is a “generic” series of tools, meaning you can apply it to lots of different funding situations. This is possible because the toolkit breaks down, into a series of tools, the main things that funders usually look for in a funding application.
The Toolkit Manual and Audio CDs
Here’s what you get:
•over 100 page workbook either in hard copy (very limited) or in electronic format that includes:
•the top 5 mistakes that applicants make when they apply for funding as told by funders themselves
•a universal framework for project management
•understand how you organise people and resources
•powerful tools to use in your funding applications
•the secrets that professionals know when they apply for funding and that can make the difference in a successful application
•get agreement with your group to move the project in the right direction.
•and much much more
The Project Toolkit has been extensively tested with live project ideas and has secured hundreds of thousands of £ worth of funding for those that have used it.
“The toolkit quality is excellent. You know you are getting something you can implement. I used the toolkit in a number of different ways including:
•a mentoring project
•getting other people to own the project idea
•in an advisory role to enable others to understand what they need to do.
I really have enjoyed the toolkit discovering new ways of doing things much more easily”
Bev Stewart, ODF
Bringing the toolkit to life
To launch the toolkit we are offering a limited number of the original toolkit recordings. The toolkit was developed in early 2008. As part of that development a number of seminars were held that taught a select group of learners how to use the toolkit.
The first 50 orders of the toolkit will receive over 6 hours of original training recordings in one of the two following formats:
•a CD that contains recordings of the original toolkit training sessions
•access to MP3 audio downloads with immediate access
The recordings contain the following:
•a full explanation of project management methodology
•how to organise your project group for optimal performance
•a framework for using the tools
•the key tools explained plus feedback from the group
•live discussion about how to use the tools
“The toolkit is very practical and flows in a logical sequence that makes you think about things you had not thought about before.
It was a great seminar and very useful for project management. I now have some great ideas and I want to thank you team for a wonderful, proactive and informative course.”
